One dead after stabbing at Temecula Motel 6
TEMECULA — Although few details have been released, officials confirmed today that they are investigating the murder of a person killed outside a Temecula Motel 6 early this morning, Saturday, Dec. 21. Witnesses from the scene say the victim was possibly stabbed during an altercation before collapsing in the parking lot of the motel, which is located at 41900 Moreno Rd., in the city’s Old Town district.

Riverside County Sheriff’s officials say the deadly incident happened around 2 a.m., and that the victim passed away from their injuries.

Officials have not yet provided any further information or details about their investigation, which is active and ongoing.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 29 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 16 grandchildren.
