3 found murdered at Perris cemetery, officials investigating

PERRIS — Officials investigating the triple murder of three men whose bodies were discovered at a Perris cemetery earlier this month have identified 33-year-old, Jose Luis Torres Garcia as the man they say was responsible for the trio of slayings. Officials say the alleged suspect resides in the Perris/Mead Valley area.

Garcia, who officials have not yet located or arrested, is known to drive a blue GMC Yukon with a CA license plate of 4PDH363. He is also known to drive a motorcycle, described as possibly a green Kawasaki.

CHU investigators have issued a $3 million warrant for Garcia’s apprehension.

PERRIS — Officials have confirmed they are now conducting a homicide investigation after the bodies of three men were discovered near a grave site at Perris Valley Cemetery this morning.

No other details have been released in the Sheriff’s investigation, which is active and ongoing at the scene.

PERRIS — Although very few details have been released Riverside County Sheriff’s officials have confirmed they are investigating after three bodies were discovered near a grave site at a Perris cemetery earlier today, Monday, Feb. 17.

The bodies were found at Perris Valley Cemetery on the 900 block of N. Perris Blvd., between E. Nuevo Rd. and the I-215 Freeway, according to a Department Tweet.

Today’s discovery follows on the heels of two weeks of deadly violence that have left three people dead and three others recovering from gunshot wounds.

The other four violent incidents that happened over a ten day period include the deadly shooting of a Temecula man at a gas station on the 200 block of E. 4th St. on Sunday, Feb. 2; an assault that left one man dead and another injured at Menifee’s Eller Park – which is located just outside Perris city limits – one week later on Sunday, Feb. 9; a third incident that left three men with gunshot wounds in a residential neighborhood on the 1500 block of Ashbury Way on Tuesday, Feb. 11; and the fatal shooting of a man at Perris’ Paragon Park, Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Deputies, investigators and other officials remain at the Perris Valley Cemetery where three bodies were found near a grave site.

Deputies and investigators from the Perris Sheriff’s Station began investigating the discovery sometime this morning, according to a Sheriff’s social media release that offered few details other than to confirm that three bodies had been discovered. The social media release also indicated that members of the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit have assumed the investigation, which is active and ongoing at the scene.

According to their Tweet, officials have closed the cemetery to the public, and the location will remain closed until officials conclude their initial on-scene investigation.
