At around 10:38 p.m., officers with the Anderson Police Department went to a residence on the 1800 block of Diamond Street to conduct a probation search, Anderson PD has since reported.
Officers detained the home’s occupants, identified as 42-year-old Sabrina Marie Baca, and 29-year-old John Paul Marciel. Both Anderson residents are convicted felons and are currently on Shasta County probation with warrantless search terms.
During the probation search, officers located 64.9 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and a functioning taser device.
Based on their findings, both Baca and Maciel were arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales and being felons in possession of a stun gun.
The pair was later booked into the Shasta County Jail in Redding; however, online jail records indicate both have since been released from custody.
