UPDATE: April 13, 3 a.m. Coroner officials have identified the pedestrian who died when she was struck by a motorist on Hamner Avenue south of Amberhill Avenue in Eastvale. The woman was identified as Janine Chavez, 28, of Eastvale. She was pronounced dead at 7:54 p.m., ten minutes after she was struck while walking on Hamner Avenue.
