RIVERSIDE: Man killed in fatal single-vehicle accident on 60 freeway identified

RIVERSIDE – A coroner’s report has identified the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved in Tuesday’s fatal single-vehicle traffic collision. The accident occurred in Riverside on the Westbound 60 freeway at the Main St. off-ramp.
The coroner identified Michael Moody, a 55-year-old resident of Yucaipa as killed in the crash. The report indicated Moody’s injuries occurred at 5:37 a.m. His time of death was listed as 6:03 a.m.
No further information has been released regarding this incident, which is still being investigated by CHP.

RIVERSIDE – A single-vehicle traffic collision on the Westbound 60 freeway at the Main St. off-ramp resulted in the death of the driver and sole occupant of the car.
Emergency first responders from California Highway Patrol, Riverside Fire Department and AMR responded to the report of a major, single-vehicle traffic collision in the early hours of Dec. 29.
First arriving fire personnel reported finding an unidentified adult male trapped inside the mangled wreckage of his vehicle. According to an incident report issued by the Riverside Fire Department, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of his family. According to CHP officials, this is an active and ongoing investigation.
