Suspect sought after Moreno Valley bank robbery
MORENO VALLEY – Officials from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Police Station are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a Chase Bank, May 25, according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Brandi Swan. The bank is located in the 27000 block of Fir Avenue, in Moreno Valley.
Swan described the suspect as a white male adult, about 25-years-old. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with the words “Los Angeles” across the front.
Riverside County emergency communications dispatchers received a 911 call from a person reporting the bank robbery at 10:31 a.m., regarding a bank robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, deputies interviewed bank employees and witnesses and learned the unidentified suspect “entered the bank and demanded money,” Swan explained. “After obtaining an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the suspect fled the area on foot.
Deputies used a bloodhound to track the man. However, the bloodhound was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
