TEMECULA: Officials seek help identifying alleged school burglary suspect

TEMECULA – Sheriffs and school officials are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating a man suspected of burglarizing a Temecula area charter school, according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Steve Fredericks.

The early-morning burglary happened Monday, Jan. 9, at the Julian Charter School in the 29000 block of Vallejo Avenue in Temecula.

The school is a public charter school serving K-12 students in Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties and is sponsored by the Julian Union School District in San Diego County

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Temecula Police station investigated the burglary after it was reported about 2 a.m.

During their investigation, deputies obtained surveillance footage that showed the alleged suspect force entry into the school, Fredericks explained about the incident and investigation.

The surveillance footage shows a man, described by Fredericks as a white or Hispanic male, possibly in his thirties, with a mustache and goatee, about 5’09” and 200 pounds. The man was wearing a hoodie, shorts, and white Adidas shoes with black stripes.

The video showed the suspect was driving a white pickup truck, which appears to be a 4-door Dodge Ram with chrome wheels.
