SAN JACINTO: Multiple-vehicle collision injures four, snarls traffic

SAN JACINTO – Four people sustained minor to moderate injuries in a four-vehicle pileup Saturday, March 25. The accident happened in the area of N.Sanderson Avenue and Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s San Jacinto Police Station and other emergency first responders were dispatched to the scene of the wreck about 9:45 p.m.

When officials arrived, they found four vehicles that were involved in the chain-reaction collision. Firefighter/paramedics treated the four victims at the scene.

It was not immediately known if any of the victim’s were transported to the hospital; however, witnesses at the scene relayed that all four suffered only minor to moderate injuries.

Witnesses told investigating deputies that one of the drivers, believed to have been operating a red vehicle, had caused the accident when they ran a red light at the intersection.

Deputies from the San Jacinto Police Station are investigating the cause of the accident. Their investigation is active and ongoing.

Trevor has been married for more than 26 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 12 – soon to be 13 – grandchildren.
