MORENO VALLEY – A 20-year-old, Perris resident died after she was struck by a hit and run driver Tuesday, March 28. The deadly accident happened on Ironwood Avenue east of Zantar Lane in Moreno Valley.

Coroner’s officials later identified Tatiana Flores as the pedestrian who was killed. She died at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley at 10:52 p.m. Coroner’s officials had not yet determined what time Flores was fatally struck.

Moreno Valley Police and Fire personnel and AMR medics responded to reports of the major injury hit and run traffic collision about 10:13 p.m., according to Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant William Stens.

Emergency first responders arrived within minutes of the dispatched call and quickly found the pedestrian down in the roadway. She was suffering from major traumatic injuries from being struck.

  • Are there any updates? I live not too far and I was walking on ironwood the other day when I saw the sign with picture of her. I was standing by the flowers and candles. I felt very sad when I walked by. She’s beautiful and young. I clicked on the link you provided the report from the sheriff press does not open. Please let us all know if there are updates on finding the car who hit her.
