HEMET: Two hospitalized after head-on wreck

HEMET — Two elderly victims were hospitalized after a two-vehicle, head-on collision, Monday afternoon, Feb. 19. The accident, which left both vehicles heavily damaged, happened at the intersection of W. Devonshire and N Cawston Avenues in Hemet.

City of Hemet Police and Fire Departments along with other emergency first responders were dispatched to the scene o the crash just after 4:30 p.m., after receiving reports of the minor-injury collision.

When they arrived officials found a 1960 Chevrolet Apache and Toyota Rav-4 in the intersection blocking lanes of travel. Both vehicles sustained heavy, front-end damage leaving both inoperable and both were later towed from the scene.

While Hemet PD investigated the cause of the crash, paramedics treated both drivers before American Medical Response transported both victims to Hemet Valley Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Their current conditions are unknown.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
