PERRIS: Man accused of grabbing, sexually assaulting minor

PERRIS — Authorities arrested a man they allege grabbed and sexually assaulted a child, Saturday afternoon, Mar. 31. The 65-year-old man is due in court on multiple felony charges Wednesday morning.

After an investigation, deputies arrested Graylin Dennis Williams, of Perris, and he was later booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child younger than 14, kidnapping and false imprisonment.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Perris Police Station responded to the 200 block of Citrus Avenue, near Orchard Street, in Perris about 4 p.m., Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Aaron Avila.

During the investigation deputies learned the suspect “grabbed the victim and sexually assaulted her,” said Avila. Deputies searching for Williams found him near where the incident happened and arrested him without incident.

An online jail records search revealed Williams remains in custody on $75,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at Riverside Hall Of Justice, Apr. 4.

Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 grandchildren.
