HEMET: Two drivers hospitalized after early evening crash
HEMET –Two people sustained minor injuries and were both hospitalized after a two car accident in Hemet earlier this evening. The injury traffic collision happened at the intersection of State St. and Oakland Ave.

City of Hemet Police and Fire Departments, along with other emergency first responders, were dispatched to the intersection just after 7 p.m., after receiving several 911 calls from other motorists and witnesses who saw the crash.
When officials arrived they located two wrecked sedans as well as vehicle parts and debris blocking the roadway and intersection. The cars, a maroon Honda and dark gray Toyota, both had major front-end damage and were later towed from the scene.
Firefighter/paramedics evaluated and treated the two injured drivers and AMR ambulance crews transported both victims to Hemet Valley Hospital for further treatment of minor injuries and complaints of pain.
Hemet PD is investigating the cause of the crash and officials have not yet released any information regarding their ongoing accident investigation.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations, including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center and Lake Elsinore Station, along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 27 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 14 – soon to be 15 – grandchildren.
