WILDOMAR: Youth pastor charged with molesting children over 18 year span
WILDOMAR — A local youth pastor has been arrested and charged with five felony counts related to molesting children. According to sheriff’s officials the molestations took place over a nearly 20-year time span.
Officials have not specified how many victims the suspect has been accused of molesting, or if the victims were related to him or involved the churches where he is or was a youth pastor.

The alleged suspect, 45-year-old, Malo “Victor” Monteiro, remains in custody on $225,000 bail. Various sources indicate the alleged suspect resides in Wildomar; however, sheriff’s officials stated Monteiro resides in Colton. According to several social media pages, Monteiro is self-employed and attended Perris High School and Faith Baptist Academy.
At least two of Monteiro’s social media pages indicated he is or recently was affiliated with Faith Baptist in Wildomar and Menifee Baptist Church, but officials did not specify if the alleged crimes involved those or other churches.
After an “extensive” months-long investigation, authorities assigned to the Wildomar Police Department arrested Monteiro yesterday morning. He was apprehended in the area of Lemon St. and Citrus Grove in Wildomar.
Monteiro was booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta late yesterday afternoon on suspicion of assault with intent to commit mayhem, rape, sodomy, oral copulation; lewd acts with a child between 14 and 15-years-old; sexual penetration with a foreign object by force, fear, or threats; lewd acts with a child younger than 14 by force, fear, or threats; and providing harmful materials to a child younger than 14.
Additional charges could be filed at Monteiro’s July 31 arraignment, scheduled at Murrieta’s Southwest Justice Center.
The sheriff’s investigation into Monteiro’s alleged criminal activities began in June when Wildomar PD received a report of lewd acts that had allegedly been committed by a local youth pastor, Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant James Woodland explained in a press release yesterday afternoon.

Based on the circumstances, investigators from the Riverside Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station assumed the investigation and “determined several victims had been sexually assaulted when they were juveniles,” said Woodland, who explained the alleged incidents happened between 1999 and 2017.
Wildomar PD’s investigation is active and ongoing.

That is what I have been hearing – unofficially. But so far I have not found anyone wanting to go on the record and say so.

I attended FBC from 3yrs old til I was 14
There was always a weird vibe from him and i never like walking with him alone, he had a bad temper too.. Once he tried keeping me after class on Sunday I told him i needed to go cause i rode the bus and lived far and he got mad and told me to just stay seated and wait for everyone to leave, I was only 13 (almost 14) at the time, i disobeyed him and started walking out after everyone left, he grabbed my wrist and told me that if I didnt listen I was nothing but a slut like my sister and told me to never come back. I waited until the following week and called the pastor/owner of FBC, Pastor Goddard, I told him everything, I was welcomed back. But I didn’t want to be there anymore because he was still there, so i quit going.
Holy shit, I’ve been there years ago i used to be in those teen activities, im not sure if i knew Victor though.
