Murrieta PD’s Weekly Roundup 9/20

From Murrieta PD/Facebook

– Officer Leitch contacted a male that was sleeping behind a business Thursday afternoon. #siesta Unfortunately for the male, Isaac Davalos, he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Even more unfortunate for Isaac was the loaded firearm in his backpack. #nothis #convictedfelon #canthaveagun

– Friday night Officer Huss responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle driving around the Super Target parking lot. Does that make the vehicle #supersuspicious? Officer Huss located the vehicle right away and discovered that it had been stolen from Hemet earlier in the day. #superstolen The driver, Jasmine Ybanez was #superarrested and her male counterpart was released at the scene.

– Sunday night Richard Burns was contacted during a traffic stop by Officer Evans and Officer Bradley. Since Richard is on #PRCS, the officers conducted a probation search on Richard and his car. #thosearetheterms That’s when they found the glittery gold coin purse full of meth in his pocket. #themethfairy #deliversmeth in #glitterygoldcoinpurses Richard spent the rest of the night in #thebyrdhouse because possessing meth is a violation of #PRCS.

– Monday morning Officer Baker and Officer Bock were looking for Stanley Lyghtle and Stanley knew it. #hideandseek He was in violation of his parole and much to his dismay, he was going to go to jail. That’s why he hid behind a pillar when Officer Baker drove by. #youcantseeme Officer Baker and Officer Bock did see Stanley and placed him under arrest. #readyornot #herewecome #hideandseekchamps

– When you get arrested twice in 14 hours, you may need to reevaluate your life choices. #justsayin

– Alcohol affects people differently. Some people are fun, some are quiet, and some are just plain mean. #thatswhytheycallittruthserum Wednesday morning just after midnight, dispatch received a call regarding a vehicle that had crashed into a parked car on Lincoln. When Corporal Abbate arrived, he found the female driver passed out behind the wheel with the car still running. After banging on the door and window, Corporal Abbate was able to wake Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping Beauty wasn’t so happy to see Corporal Abbate. She gave him a one fingered hand gesture and repeatedly used words unbecoming to a princess. It was obvious to Corporal Abbate that Sleeping Beauty was clearly under the influence and was ultimately arrested for DUI and booked into #thebyrdhouse. We are not sharing the identity of Sleeping Beauty because this is her first offense. We understand that people make mistakes and we hope that this story helps you realize that it can happen to anyone. So the next time you’re thinking of making a bad decision, ask yourself if it’s worth ending up in the Weekly Roundup. #isitworthit #makegoodchoices #weallmakemistakes #stopandthink #willthisgetmeintheroundup #nexttimeweusehername
