Missing Palm Desert woman’s body found in RM field

RANCHO MIRAGE — The body of a 50-year-old, Palm Desert woman who disappeared last month after leaving her home to go to work was discovered yesterday in a Rancho Mirage field, southwest of the intersection of Monterey Ave. and Verbenia Rd.

Sheriff’s officials investigating the woman’s death do not suspect foul play; however, they say the investigation into how she died is active and ongoing.

Officials are investigating the death of 50-year-old, Jennifer Sulcoski, after her body was found in a Rancho Mirage field.

Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner officials identified today Jennifer “Jennie” Carpenter Sulcoski as the victim whose body was recovered.

According to a coroner’s release Sulcoski was pronounced deceased at 6:47 p.m., when she was found by deputies who had responded to a report of a body found in the field on the north side of a Southern California Edison substation.

Sulcoski was reported as missing by her family after she was last seen leaving home for work, Sept. 19.

Sulcoski’s family members filed a missing person’s report with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department the following week.According to her family, Sulcoski never arrived at work and had not been seen since disappearing.

Rancho Mirage PD deputies and investigators from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s station are investigating the cause of Sulcoski’s death and their investigation is ongoing.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 14 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.

  • Does that woman look 50 years old? There is record this name resides at Segovia which is senior care facility. None of this adds up.
