People who have nice things tend to invest money to keep their things in their possession. Take for instance this nice F-250 landscaping truck. The owner likes his truck and wants to keep it, so he invested in a GPS unit to keep track of it. That came in handy today when he discovered his truck was missing.

Seeing as though he wanted his truck back, he contacted the police and told us right where his truck was, which happened to be a shopping center at Van Buren & Arlington. Our officers went to where his truck was and lo and behold it was just leaving.

Our officers attempted a stop, but the driver was having none of it and decided to lead them on a pursuit. For those wondering, an F-250 isn’t the best vehicle to make a clean getaway. Needless to say, our suspect was eventually taken safely into custody after stopping and attempting to run from the pursuing officers.

Now, we’re no medical experts, but we think the Surgeon General would back us up on this life hack. Fleeing from the police, whether in a vehicle or on foot, is never recommended, especially if you’re pregnant! Medical aid was summoned and our expecting suspect was taken to the hospital, to ensure her health and the health of her unborn baby. #lifehacksforcriminals #notsurethisoneneededasurgeonegeneralwarning  #jailisnoplaceforbabies
