In a social media post with the headline, “We will find you!” officials from Hemet Sheriff’s Station announced that today’s probation sweep ended with “multiple people” arrested for a variety of felony warrants and probation violations.
Throughout the sweep, deputies in marked and unmarked sheriff’s vehicles, went from one neighborhood to another, contacting and detaining probationers at many of the locations. Some of those detained were later released, while many were arrested and later booked into jail on their various charges.
Photographs shared in the department’s social media post showed deputies conducting the sweep and searches, as well as nearly a dozen people handcuffed and detained at one location alone.
