Officers at scene of Fall River 3-vehicle crash

FALL RIVER MILLS — Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle traffic accident after an SUV hit at least two – but possibly three – parked vehicles this morning, Friday, May 10. According to a CHP incident log and official radio traffic, the accident happened in the area of Main St. and SR-299, near the Fall River Hotel.

Officials were first alerted to the crash around 11:35 a.m., after receiving reports of a black GMC SUV that crashed into two or possibly three parked vehicles. Two of the vehicles were described by 911 callers as white SUV’s. No information or confirmation about the other possibly involved vehicle was readily available, but area resident Jennifer Jordan later told SCNS the vehicle was black and had been parked at Napa when it was struck.

Although Fire and rescue personnel were initially summoned to the scene, their response was later cancelled after CHP officers determined nobody was injured in the crash.

CHP is investigating the cause of the collision and their accident investigation was active and ongoing at the scene as of this report.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
