Mt. Shasta child porn suspect arrested – 10K+ images seized

MT. SHASTA — Authorities announced the arrest of a Mt. Shasta man they say was in possession of more than 10,000 images depicting child pornography yesterday morning, Monday, Sept. 23.

56-year-old, Bradley Stilley was apprehended after Mt. Shasta Police Department received a Sept. 13 cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding uploading of child pornography within city limits.

During their investigation MSPD detectives determined that thousands of child pornography related images were being uploaded from an unmarked address in an alleyway behind a home on the 300 block of Russell St.

Based on their initial investigation, at approximately 7 a.m. yesterday morning, MSPD detectives served a search warrant at the residence. Members of the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children task force and Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office assisted during the warrant service.

During the service of the warrant, officials say they located and seized more than 10,000 suspected child pornography images.

Officials also took Stilley into custody, and he was later booked into county jail on suspicion of possession of child pornography and the enhancement of possession of child pornography in excess of more than 600 images.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 29 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
