Burney offering one-on-one Kindergarten registration for 2020-2021 session

BURNEY, Calif. — Due to the ongoing COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and other cautionary restrictions, Kindergarten registration for Burney Elementary School’s 2020-2021 school year has been reorganized to allow for one-on-one sessions with parents and/or guardians.

During the week of April 27th, school staff and other administrators will be available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until noon to distribute and go over packets in the Burney Elementary School office.

Immunizations are required to register your child and parents or guardians should also bring proof of birth.

Those parents wanting to register their Kindergartners should wait in the office hallway if another parent is in the office, in order to maintain established social distancing.

Kindergarten registration is available for all children born on or before September 1, 2015; or between September 2 and December 2, 2015 for Transitional Kindergarten.

Children born between December 3, 2015 and April 15, 2016 can be placed on a wait list, in case a Young 5’s class is offered next year.

For more information, contact Burney Elementary School at (530) 335-2279 or visit them online or on Facebook.
