Jurupa Valley traffic stop, search warrant yields cocaine, meth, heroin, handguns
JURUPA VALLEY, Calif., — Authorities say a traffic stop and subsequent search warrant led to the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotics; including cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin Thursday, Nov. 18. A felon was arrested as a result of the police activity and two loaded handguns and ammunition were also recovered as a result of the initial traffic stop, according to officials.

At around 5:30 p.m., Region 7 Riverside/Jurupa Valley and Region 6 Perris/Lake Elsinore Task Force Officers served a search warrant at a private residence in the 5600 block of Tilton Avenue in Jurupa Valley, Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Jose Ayala has since reported.
The search warrant stemmed from a traffic stop where Pedro Anaya, a 46-year-old Jurupa Valley resident and convicted felon, was found in possession of a loaded 9mm firearm, the Sergeant explained.

During the search warrant, Task Force Officers located an additional 9mm firearm, as well as 55 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of methamphetamine, and 3.5 grams of heroin.
Anaya was arrested without incident as a result of the traffic stop and search warrant.
After his arrest, Anaya was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance while armed and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Online jail records indicate Anaya remains in custody in lieu of $25,000 bail or bond and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Riverside Hall Of Justice tomorrow morning.

Trevor has been married for more than 30 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 18 grandchildren.
