HEMET – Hemet Police officials are asking for the public’s help identifying two people who robbed Castle Liquor, located at 4290 E. Florida Avenue, June 11. The armed robbery occurred at about 10:53 p.m.

Officers responded to the liquor store after an employee reported the robbery.

The victim told investigating officers that two unknown subjects had just robbed him at gunpoint. The victim was unable to provide an accurate description of the suspects as they were wearing gloves on their hands and masks over the faces.

After robbing the store the suspects reportedly ran westbound from the location, entered a white vehicle and were last seen traveling northbound on Meridian.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle they reportedly fled in.

Officers obtained surveillance footage from the store that showed the two subjects enter the store and brandish two handguns at the victim during the robbery.
