Hemet Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects who robbed two businesses.

A $2,000 reward has been offered for information related to one of two recent Hemet recent Hemet robberies. Officers believe the two robberies were possibly committed by the same three suspects.

Surveillance video and photos of the suspects involved was obtained and has been released to citizens in an attempt to identify the suspects involved in the incidents. (See video below.)

The first robbery occurred Friday, Oct. 14. The second robbery occurred the following day, Saturday, Oct. 15.

Hemet police officers responded to Crown Gold Exchange just before 4 p.m., regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred. The business is located in the 300 block of South Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.

The suspects robbed the business at gunpoint before they fled with cash, jewelry, and personal property from the business.

During their investigation officers determined that two black male adults entered the business and robbed an employee and customer at gunpoint.

Officers obtained surveillance video of the robbery, which they released to the public in an attempt to identify the suspects.

The following day Hemet police officers responded to Check N Go at about 10:20 a.m., regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred. The business is located in the 3600 block of West Florida Avenue.

During their investigation officers determined that three black male adults entered the business and robbed an employee at gunpoint.

The suspects fled with cash and personal property. Officers obtained surveillance images from the robbery.

The owner of the Crown Gold Exchange is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in that case. Anyone with information about either of these cases are encouraged to contact Hemet Police Investigator Jessica Tuttle at (951) 765-2422.

Trevor Montgomery spent 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Orthopedic Specialist before joining the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1998. He was medically retired after losing his leg in an off-duty accident.

Trevor has been married for more than 26 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and has 13 children and 12 – soon to be 13 – grandchildren.
