Murrieta PD’s Weekly Roundup 6/7

From Murrieta PD/Facebook

– Late Thursday night Officer Bradley responded to a report of a drunk driver near Torrey Pines Road and Silver Oaks Drive. He located the vehicle and contacted the occupants, William Wohleb and his sister Annie Dodd. William and Annie were pretty #schnockered after an evening of libations. Unfortunately, William chose to drive home #DUI and that poor choice will cost him. (He’s going to be paying a pretty penny in legal fees and higher auto insurance.) Annie was less than cordial with the officers and found herself sleeping it off in #thebyrdhouse along with her brother. #familyties #havefun but #haveaDD #uber #lyft #taxi #callyourmom

– Friday morning Officer Zeltner and Corporal Swearingen contacted a gentleman sleeping in his vehicle in a gas station parking lot. Stephen Rines was pretty surprised when he woke to see the officers standing next to his vehicle. #Iwouldbetoo That may be why he gave them a fake name. Or maybe it was the felony warrant and array of narcotics he had. Either way, he went to #CBDC.

– Our observant citizens are the best. They’re on top of it, even at 3:00 a.m. On Saturday morning officers responded to a report of subjects breaking into mailboxes. Corporal Whittington located the vehicle and contacted Angelina Acosta and Timothy McKeehan. Timothy is on probation for narcotics and when the officers conducted a search of the vehicle according to the terms of his probation, you’ll never guess what they found. Freshly stolen mail. #notcool #notcoolatall Timothy and Angelina went to #thebyrdhouse on a laundry list of charges including conspiracy, mail theft and possessing burglary tools.

– Angelina Acosta is having quite the week. When we arrested her and Timothy on Saturday, her car was towed to a local tow yard. She went to the tow yard on Monday to pick up her car and was met by MPD officers. Why? Well that’s because her car wasn’t exactly “her” car. She had used someone else’s information to purchase “her” car. What’s even better is that the person that gave her a ride to pick up “her” car had done the same thing. #youcantmakethisstuffup Angelina and her cohort Allison McInerny had both used someone else’s information to purchase vehicles. #identitytheft #identitythief #notlikethemovie Angelina and Allison were both arrested and booked into #CBDC. Luckily Angelina knew her way around #thebyrdhouse so Allison didn’t get lost.

– Saturday morning Officer Baker contacted Hector Canizales Saturday morning while he was sleeping in front of a gas station and discovered that he had a felony warrant for robbery. Officer Baker took Hector to #CBDC to finish his nap.

– Saturday must have been the day to sleep in front of businesses because once Officer Baker dropped off Mr. Canizales at #thebyrdhouse, he responded to another slumbering subject in front of a popular eating establishment. I’m not sure how he was able to sleep there because it’s a pretty busy location at noon on a Saturday. #justsaying #itsalwaybusythere Anyhoot, Officer Baker arrested David Leibinger for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia and booked him into #CBDC.

– Officers Devey and Miller were on patrol when they saw some subjects acting suspiciously in a parking lot early Monday morning. They conducted an investigative stop and contacted Nicholas Rich, Jose Lomeli and Justin Minasian, all from Hemet. It was just after midnight and none of the subjects could say what they were doing in a parking lot where all of the businesses were closed. Jose was found to be on #PRCS probation for the transportation of narcotics and Justin was found to be on felony probation for auto theft. During the investigation, it was discovered that the three subjects were in a stolen vehicle and Nicholas was in possession of heroin. The trio won a one way trip to #thebyrdhouse. #nothinggoodhappensaftermidnight #prop47 #prop57

– Officer Meadows conducted a traffic stop at 3:46 a.m. Tuesday because he knows that #nothinggoodhappensaftermidnight. Long story short, Ebony Ward, Austin Purifoy, Derek Strange and Jasmine Moore all won an all-inclusive trip to #CBDC. When you have drugs, burglary tools and credit cards belonging to other people, you win special prizes like that.

– Program this number in your phone – 951-696-3615. That’s our non-emergency number. That’s the number an observant citizen used last night to call in a subject seen going through mailboxes off of Los Alamos Road. Officer Sanetrick contacted Edward Embry and his female companion Kelsea Barkle during an investigative traffic stop. Ms. Barkle was found to be on probation for bringing drugs or alcohol into a jail. During a search of their car pursuant to the terms of her probation, Officer Sanetrick located stolen property and narcotics. Mr. Embry finished his evening in #thebyrdhouse and Ms. Barkle was released at the scene. #keepournumber #callusanytime #allday #everyday
