One hospitalized after Hemet rollover crash
HEMET — One person was reportedly hospitalized after a two-vehicle rollover traffic collision in Hemet, late yesterday afternoon, Saturday, June 22. Yesterday’s crash happened on W. Florida Ave., near 4 Seasons Blvd., on the city’s west end.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of the crash after 911 callers reported a passenger sedan and pickup truck had plowed into each other, causing one of the two vehicles to overturn. Callers reported the two wrecked vehicles were in the middle of the roadway and that other motorists were trying to work their way past the heavily-damaged vehicles.
When officials arrived they found two vehicles, described as a gray Chrysler and gray Chevy 1500 pickup truck. The pickup was upside down on its roof and the Chrysler was near the middle of the roadway nearby. Several witnesses and good Samaritans had stopped at the scene and were providing aid and comfort to the two people involved in the crash.
One victim was eventually transported by AMR ground ambulance to an area hospital with injuries described as minor.
Hemet PD is investigating the cause of the collision and their accident invetigation is ongoing.

During his time with the sheriff’s department, Trevor worked at several different stations; including Robert Presley Detention Center, Southwest Station in Temecula, Hemet/Valle Vista Station, Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, and Lake Elsinore Station; along with other locations.
Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 28 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 15 – but soon to be 16 – grandchildren.
