Menifee woman arrested for DUI after Perris wreck

PERRIS — A menifee woman was arrested for DUI after allegedly losing control of her vehicle and smashing into a center median where she knocked down two traffic signs late Sunday evening, Dec. 8. The solo-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of E. 4th St. and Wilkerson Ave., in Perris.

Deputies assigned to the Perris Sheriff’s Station, along with Cal Fire Riverside County Fire and AMR personnel, responded to the intersection around 11:15 p.m., after receiving reports of a vehicle that crashed, Riverside Sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Staton reported after the incident and arrest.

When officials arrived they found a damaged car that had crashed into two traffic control signs, knocking down both.

During their subsequent investigation deputies determined the driver, 39-year-old Kimberly Marie Porras, was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to Staton. She was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of DUI.

Jail records indicate Porras was cited and released within hours of her arrest. She is scheduled to be arraigned at Riverside’s Hall Of Justice April 6.

He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.

Trevor has been married for more than 29 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 16 grandchildren.
