Sex offender arrested again after Riverside incidents
RIVERSIDE, Calif, — A registered sex offender who is currently on parole with an ankle monitoring device was arrested again after witnesses reported he was fondling himself in public view in a Riverside parking lot Thursday morning, Feb. 4.

City of Riverside police officers responded to a business located in the 9100 block of Magnolia Avenue around 11:30 a.m., after receiving reports of a man fondling himself in the parking lot, Riverside PD reported today.
When officers arrived they quickly located and detained a man matching the description provided by witnesses. He was identified as Maurice Davis, 30, a transient from Riverside.

“After speaking to several store employees and reviewing security camera footage, officers determined they had the right guy,” said RPD.
Based on their investigation, which included witness statements and security footage of the incidents, officers arrested Davis.
He was later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of indecent exposure, possession of methamphetamine, and violating the terms of his parole.
Online jail records indicate he remains in custody and is being held without bail.

Trevor’s assignments included Corrections, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Boat and Personal Water-Craft based Lake Patrol, Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement, Problem Oriented Policing Team, and Personnel/Background Investigations. He finished his career while working as a Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigator and was a court-designated expert in child abuse and child sex-related crimes.
Trevor has been married for more than 30 years and was a foster parent to more than 60 children over 13 years. He is now an adoptive parent and his “fluid family” includes 13 children and 18 grandchildren.
